GLADYS LIONA ALLISON
JAN 27, 1907 - AUG 17, 2010
Gladys Allison went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2010.
Gladys lived to be 103 years and 7 months. Her greatest joy was
serving the Lord and taking care of her large family. She helped
raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gladys moved from Kansas to Oklahoma in a covered wagon at the age of two.
She met Edwin Reeder Allison and they married in 1926. They had four children,
Twila, Anna, Carl, and Myrtle.
They moved to California in 1944. Richland Faith Assembly of God was her
home church where she enjoyed the singing and listening to the Word of God.
Gladys leaves behind her three children, Anna Robinson, Carl (Sue) Allison,
Myrtle (Jerry) Johnson, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren,
and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Allison, daughter Twila Coley,
and grandson Steven Coley.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 4 to 8 pm at
Lakewood Funeral Home Heritage Chapel . Service will be Friday 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
