Gladys Louque, age 87, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Chateau St. James Nursing Home. She was employed for 30 years with Dr. Turner and then at the Stockpile Restaurant.
She is survived by her son, Eric (Yecky) Nell, grandchildren; Todd Malbrough (Cori), Jennifer Scioneaux (Ryan), and Darrin Seal; great-grandchildren; Skyler,Abigal, Caden, Ryder, Brye and sister, Annabelle Bourgeois and brother, A. J. Louque.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney J. Louque, parents; Louise Martin and Alcee Louque, children; Whitney, Jr., Marlyn, Janice, Linda Seal (Ray), siblings, Newton, Enola, Morris (Buck), Eunice (Nit), Melvin (Ying), John Wayne (T-Coke).
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 9:00 am until10:45 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. Ed Fuss celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher.
