Glenn Lawson Albritton, 92, passed away Friday May 4, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 12:30pm Monday May 7, 2012 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland, preceded by visitation at 11:30. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
He was a longtime member of First Christian Church and later First Baptist Church of Jackson. He owned Glenn Albritton Designers, and was a commercial real estate developer. He was a member of the Jackson Homebuilders Association.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Tommie Albritton who passed away on February 1 of this year. Survivors include his son, Glenn Lawson Albritton, Jr. (Marcia) of Germantown, TN; daughter, Alexine Covington (Mike) of Ridgeland; grandson, Thomas Michael Covington of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Lela Ashley Covington of Jackson/Hattiesburg; great-granddaughter, Addison Grace Covington of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Ann Harrison (Alvin) of Laurel and Hazel Hibberd of St. Louis, MO, and faithful housekeeper of 56 years, Mattie Ratliff.
