Mr. Glenn E. Austin, 71, of Mint Hill, NC, died November 18, 2011 at Carolinas Medical center. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis B. Austin, and four sons: Eric, Reg, Stan, and David; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Millie Belk, Merle Haney, and Alvin Austin. Visitation Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, from 7-9 pm, at McEwen- Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. Funeral Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at 3:00 pm at Rocky River True Light Church, Monroe, NC, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
