Gloria J. Bendel, 70, of South Toms River, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at JFK Memorial Hospital in Edison. Born in Union, she grew up in Westfield, moving to South Toms River in 1960. Gloria worked for FEL Corp. in Farmingdale for 25 years before retiring as a supervisor. Gloria was very considerate and kind and will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ruth Bendel; and her siblings, Charles "Buster", Ruth Davis, June, James and Norman. Gloria is survived by her caring nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012, at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River.
