GORDON L. LOWDEN, 76, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Born May 20, 1936 in Woodburn, he served in the National Guard and retired from International Harvester. Surviving are his daughter, Tammy (Dane) Schoel of Leo; son, Todd (Julie) Lowden of Spencerville; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma who died in 2007. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan, Ind. with calling one hour prior. Chaplain Karen Kossberg officiating.
