Grace Bryant Adams, 68, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Gateway Nursing Center.
Mrs. Adams was born in Caldwell County to the late Bud Bryant and Bertha Green Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Adams, a daughter, Tracy Lynn Adams and a brother, Louis Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of Crest View Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert Neil Adams and wife Kim of Lenoir; daughters, Susan Adams Bates of Granite Falls and Tammy Lynn Adams of Lenoir; a brother, Ralph Bryant of Lenoir; sisters, Ruby Hammond and Betty Coffey, both of Lenoir; grandchildren, Zachary Cole Adams, Cody Wayne Brown and Ashley Brown Connell.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Pendry's Chapel with Pastor Mike Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, February 19, 2010 from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Brown, Zachary Adams, Michael Connell, Dean Hammond, Brian Saunders and Randy Frye.
The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 or to Crest View Baptist Church at 1908 Blowing Rock Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
