HARRY CROWS, age 92, died September 29, 2013. World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Husband of the late Josephine (nee Slater) for 46 years; devoted father of Robert (Lisa) of HI and David; loving grandfather of Hilary, Evan, Jacob and the late Michael. Prior to World War II Harry worked to support the family hotel business in Mt. Clemens, MI where he was born. While stationed in England in the Army Air Corps Harry was trained to perform maintenance, repair and communication services. In 1945 while stationed in England Harry met Josephine Slater, his bride to be. Harry was a graduate of the University of Michigan College of Engineering with his degree in Electrical Engineering. He was former president of Comtel Corp., a large manufacturers rep firm which he joined in the 1950’s. An accomplished aviator, Harry owned seven different aircraft he regularly flew from the Cuyahoga County Airport. He was a tennis enthusiast with his own tennis court at home. Services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS., Wednesday, October 2 at 2 PM.
