Hazel Holmstrom Anderson, 94, passed away on June 10, 2011 at her home in Iron River, WI. Hazel was born in Duluth, MN and graduated from Denfield High School in Duluth and St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She married Norman Anderson in 1942 and after raising 3 children, taught grade school in Rockford, MI for many years.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Norm. She is survived by her children, Mary (John Schrock) Berube of Brule, WI, Peg (Randy) Mulder of Newaygo, Mi and John (Diana) Anderson of Rockford, MI and her guardian angel, Pam Kunckel of Iron River. Hazel was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial mission fund has been set up at her church, Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Iron River, WI.
