She loved clothes, always stylishly dressed, playing cards with the girls, bingo, dancing, and Atlantic City. She and her husband traveled extensively, including walking the Great Wall of China. She was a warm, caring, and adorable woman. She loved to entertain and having her extended family around her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Steve and Mary Antosiewicz, her husband of 70 years, Walter Ashmont; sisters, Eleanor Czech Renick and Bernice Andrews; and her grandson, Kenneth Botis.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Botis; her two grandsons, Michael Botis, of Virginia, and Robert Botis, of Florida; great grandson, Michael Botis Jr., of Virginia; two brothers, Larry Arnold, of Florida, and Adolph Antosiewicz, of New Jersey; and many, many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Holmdel Cemetery on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 11am. And since she loved to entertain, family and friends are invited back to her home for a repast from 1-4pm. Condolences can be sent to her daughters email, barbarabotis@aol.com. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice, in her memory.
