Austin, Helen Louise –age 78 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, St. Mary's. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. Survivors include husband of 57 ½ years, William C. Austin, Jr.; daughters, Karen and Mandy Austin; grandchildren, Jessica Vinci and Jonah Austin; great-grandson, Andrew Maples; brothers, Carl and Clarence Spangler; sister, Juanita Cruze; several nieces, nephews and many special friends to numerous to mention. The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2010 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Rev. Eddie Kitts and Rev. Kenneth Lacey officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home at 12 Noon on Friday, May 14, 2010 and will proceed to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 PM interment service.
