Henry Atkins, born May 3, 1914, passed away November 1, 2011. He was born in Pine Log (Bartow County), GA to the late George Atkins and Vinie Smith Atkins. He was the youngest of 14 children of which he was the last living survivor. He is survived by his wife of over 77 years, Iris Lee Pratt Atkins, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Mount Paran Church. The remains will lie in state from 12:00 - 1:00 PM in the church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Richmont Graduate University at Mount Paran Church.
