Henry DeGraff, Jr., 92, of Jensen Beach, FL, passed away on January 17, 2013 at Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care in Stuart, Florida.
Henry was born in Patterson, New Jersey and had previously lived in Plantation Key before relocating to the Martin County area in 2004.
He was a contractor and owned Henry DeGraff and Son, Inc. in Miami, FL for 46 years.
Henry was a veteran of the United States Army and had proudly served our country during World War II under General Patton. He was a Tech Sergeant in the 5th Armored Division. Henry was a member of the West Broward Masonic Lodge, Mahi Shrine, and the American Legion and Jesters.
He is survived by his son, James Henry DeGraff and his wife, Sondra of Barnesville, GA; son, Richard Bruce DeGraff and his wife, Nancy of Jupiter, FL; son, Roger William DeGraff and his wife, Rosalind of Stuart, FL; grandchildren, Landon, Holly, Robert, and Whitney, and great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Jackson, and Grayson.
Henry was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Florence DeGraff.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 12:00 – 2:00PM with a Masonic Ceremony to begin at 2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida.
