Faith Ann Henshall, 91, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
Mrs. Henshall was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated from Peace College as a registered nurse and volunteered to join the US Army Medical Corps during WW II. There she met and married the love of her life. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and was an active volunteer in her community. Mrs. Henshall was a very dedicated homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George K. Henshall, Jr.; parents, Louis and Cleone Baker; and sisters, Virginia King, Mary Alexander and Hope Newsom.
Surviving are her children, Patience Elizabeth May, George K. (Donna) Henshall III, Sara S. Rutherford and W. Joe (Annette) Henshall; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be at 2 PM Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Ridgedale Baptist Church (1831 Hickory Valley Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421) with Dr. Bill Owens officiating and visitation one hour prior to the service.
Graveside Services will be at 10 AM on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
