Howard Walter Siegesmund, 79, of Croton, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2012. The Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11AM on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH with Pastor Bob Riggs officiating.
Howard was born on April 14, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Walter and Irma (Woehlke) Siegesmund. He was a 1951 graduate of Hartford High School, where he played football. He lived on his family farm in Croton. He worked at OSU University and retired from PPG in Delaware, OH. Howard is a veteran of the US Army.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Bernice (Buckingham) Siegesmund, his three sons; Arthur (Becki) Siegesmund of Powell, OH Stephen (Debbie) Siegesmund of Springfield, OH and David (Lisa) Siegesmund of New Albany, OH, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister Jane (William) Sawvel along with nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
