Hugh A. Allen,age 76, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2011. High was born in Pontiac,MI on December 27,1943 to
Hugh and Arvella Allen. He was raised in Alma,MI and graduated from Alma High School. He served in the US Army from 1954-1956.
He was a Calibration and Avoinics Engineer Communucations Operations Cheif with the National Guard until 1990. He was a
highly decorated veteran.
High married the love of his life, Carolyn, 24 years ago. He is survived by a daughter Debbie (Tony) Bell, son, Robert (Pamela)
Allen and Ron Allen, step-daughter, Rebecca Hehl, and sisters, Betty Doroney, Dorothy (Jack) Anderson,brother, Don (Marilyn)
Allen and brother-in-law Lynn Hahn. He was preceded in death by his sister Beatrice Hahn. High loved his 10 grandchildren
Corey Bell, Dawnna Mullen, Jimmie Spitzley, Joann Swales, Robert Miller, Robert Allen Jr., Btittany Allen,Tyler Allen,Amber Allen,
Kristi Allen and 21 great grandchildren.
Hugh had a super sense of humor and was a loving jokester. He enjoyed fishing,hunting and cross country skiing.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 22, at 12 noon at Gorsline Runcimen Funeral homes, 205 E. Middle St.
Williamston. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8.
