Hunter Levi Stanford, 13, of Hackett, died Friday, February 1 2013 in his home. He was a student at Greenwood Junior High School. He was a member of the Partners Club, Recycle Team, Preschool Snack Team and the Special Olympics.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Stanford of the home; maternal grandparents, Karen and Bud Robinson of Hackett; one sister, Brandie Bliss of Greenwood; one brother, Dustin Tankersley and wife, Nikki of Rock Island, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Hackett, with burial at West Harmony Cemetery near Hartford under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. The family suggests that attending students may wear Greenwood Bulldog and Razorback attire. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Tankersley, Rick Stanford, David Robinson, Tracy Robinson, Donny Robinson, Lee Robinsin, Darin Stanford and Jeremy Stanford. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and cousins.
