Mrs. Ida Brescia, a resident of Copiague, Long Island, New York, died Sunday, June 10, 2012.
Mrs. Brescia is pre-deceased by her husband, Ralph. Surviving are her sisters - Josephine DelVecchio and Lena Cappuccio; and nieces and nephews - Frankie and his wife, Nancy; Paula and her husband, Jorge, Patti and his wife, Karen. Also surviving are her great-nieces and nephews - Pat; Patty and his wife, Myra; Frankie and his wife, Rachel; Christine and her husband, John; Dana and her husband, Joe.
Friends and family will gather at the D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 12; from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church in Amityville on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
