Moss Bluff - Ida Buford, 77, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 in a local hospital.
She was born in Kaplan and lived in Moss Bluff. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. She and her husband owned and operated Buford's Upholstery and she was also a seamstess.
Survivors include her son Andy Buford and wife Aimee of Longville; daughters, Susan Buford of Moss Bluff; Connie Eades and husband Ricky of Ragley; Debbie Duraso and husband James of Ragley; sisters, Elisa Hargrave of Kaplan; Della Richard of Vinton; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Buford and two grandchildren.
Her service will be Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, 2010 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. and resume on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service.
