Ilda (Patricio) Andre, age 88, of Dartmouth, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Sacred Heart Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Louis Andre.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, a daughter of the late Francisco and Maria (Tome) Patricio, she immigrated to the United States in 1967 coming to Dartmouth.
She worked as a packer for a fish processing company for over twenty years retiring in 1986.
She is survived by one sister; Olinda DeMedeiros of Dartmouth and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Manuel Patricio and Maria Medeiros.
Her Funeral will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 9:30AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet Street, New Bedford. Visiting hours Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in St. John's Cemetery, New Bedford.
