Irma Jean was born July 18, 1935 in Moultrie, GA. She was the daughter of Lonzo and Pauline Meadows
Surviving is her husband, Verril Dennis Anderson; son, Thomas Wayne Anderson; three grandchildren, Dawn Elkins, Thomas W. Anderson II and Reno S. Anderson; five great grandchildren, Caleb Elkins, Santana Anderson, Kaydence Anderson, Rachel Anderson and Clayton Anderson. Also surviving is her brother, Oliver (Wink) Meadows and sister, Robbie Nell Wacho.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra Ann Clements; brothers, Charles Maxe Meadows (Honeybee) and James (Art) Meadows; and a sister, Helen Elizabeth Alice Regojo.
Irma Jean's profession was as a dental hygienist in Miami, FL and Atlanta, GA. She greatly enjoyed air travel to visit relatives, friends, as well as various vacation areas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 07, 2010 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at 11:45 a.m. in Barrancas National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 06, 2010 at the funeral home.
