Isaac Baker, 62, of Texarkana, AR passed away April 13, 2011 in Tyler, TX. Mr. Baker was born August 9, 1948 in Houston, TX. He was a member of Full Gospel Church. Isaac was a hardworking man. He was a family man who loved his wife and kids. Isaac was good hearted, kind and friendly. He would have given you the shirt off his back. The family would like to thank everybody for coming.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Baker, better known as Bees of Texarkana, AR; sons, Russell Baker of Athens, TX, Tommy Baker of Texarkana, AR, Billy Baker of Texarkana, AR, Ammie Baker of Texarkana, AR and Isaac Baker, Jr. of Texarkana, AR; daughters, Nettie Ward of Athens, TX, Jackie Cooper of Athens, TX and Crystal Young of Texarkana, AR; 18 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Gene Reynolds and Rev. Tom Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
