Isabelle A. Smith (Zopf)

Born November 24, 1915 in Dixon, Illinois to William and Mary Zopf, passed away on February 21, 2013, in Lansing at the age of 97. Isabelle left Dixon at the age of 17 to pursue her nursing career. She was an RN for Redford Community Hospital. Isabelle married Robert E. Smith, an urban renewal official in 1942 and they lived in Detroit for 34 years. They moved to Haslett in 1979. Isabelle loved to travel and winter in Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert in 2001. She is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Smith.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 25, 12:30 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the DeWitt Cemetery.
