IVAN TAYLOR
1916 – 2013
Ivan Taylor passed away, Sunday, January 27, 2013.
Ivan was born November 20, 1916 in Beulah, Florida and was raised in Byrneville, Florida.
He was a charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and a devoted member of the Wesley Memorial Sunday School Class. He is a 50 year mason, currently a member of the Ensley Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Scottish Rite. He loved his garden and was generous with the fruits of his labor.
Ivan was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Louise Godwin Taylor.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon Erichsen (Gary) and Norma Johnson (Jim); five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
Should friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1394 East Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, Florida 32514 or to the charity of your choice in remembrance of Ivan.
