Pastor Ivy W. Thompson
On Nov. 22, 2012 at 4:02pm, Pastor Ivy W. Thompson peacefully joined the loving company of her Lord Jesus Christ. She was born on Nov. 3, 1928 and lived a gracious life as a selfless child of God.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Esther and James Brown; Husband: Newton Thompson; and two sisters: Iris and Hazel (Girly). She is survived by her brothers and sisters Jaslin, Hezekiah, Silbert, Dennis, Dolvis, Lottie, Enid, Amel, Winnie, Victoria, Junior, Carol, Delvine, Ellora, Patricia, and Marva; children: Melton, Ronald, Gladis, Gail, Sona (Marie), John, Arastao (Devon) and Joha; Grandchildren: Janice, Patrick, Jason, Ronald Jr., Clinton Sr., Linton, Amanda, Robert, Jasmine, Amber, Christen and Christopher; Great Grandchildren: Imani, Timothy, Sebek, Jechiliah, Iselah, Clinton Jr., Lavonte, Keyondre, Cordell, Kamauri, Ayden, Lahsay, Linesia, along with an extended family whom she created through the unconditional love and grace of God.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday Novemebr 30th from 6-9pm at Ott Laughlin, Winter Haven.
The Funeral Service will take place at Trinity Worship Center. (795 N. 10th St., Haines City), Dec. 1nd at 11am.
Graveside Services will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
