Jack Melvin Brown, 92, of Beech Grove, was called home to be with his Lord on Monday, December 3, 2012. He was born May 16, 1920 in Indianapolis, son of Frances Griffith. Jack was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired truck driver from Consolidated Freight Ways. He was also a member of Thompson Road Baptist Church and served as Deacon Emeritus. He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Brown; children, Jack N. Brown, Daniel M. Brown (wife, Sherie), and Marilyn K. Giuliani; grandchildren, Brittany, William, Matthew, and Zachary; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, where the funeral will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Thompson Road Baptist Church.
