Jackie,
I remember a couple of times that we were driving downtown and I had the privilege to speak to your Pop. It was very nice to have been able to do so. We knew then that he was suffering with this terrible disease and that outside of a miracle you could lose him to it. Knowing this, made the short conversation mean much more than most short conversations. Its is because I love you and know how much your family and your precious Pop mean to you. Having lost my parents, I do know the feelings of loss that you have and they run very deep. Time does not heal the broken heart. However it is with time that the incredible feeling of loss becomes more bearable. You have many great memories to cherish. That is such a blessing. Please give my love to Lisa and all of your family. Though I can not be there with you to celebrate his life know that I have prayed for you and your family and that I am always here with an ear to listen and a heart that understands. Peace and Gods comfort is what I pray for you all. Peace my friend....

Jackie and Lisa,
This is a tough time in your lives, I know. Jack was a Soldier and Leader, a Honorable Man, a Father and Husband and Friend to many. He will add to the beauty and glory of the heavens with his presence. God gave him to us for over 80 years and his Father missed him and now he is home. Be thankful for the time God let us have him and be happy knowing that in time you will spend eternity with him never to loose him again.
A Soldiers Prayer
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
Gone but never forgotten
I feel you in the wind,
As it gently brushes my face.
You are in the air I breathe,
With every breath I take.
You are in the music I hear,
Each and every day.
You are in the sea shell,
As I hear it roar.
You are with me
every step of the way.
Gone but never forgotten
Your memory lives on
in the songs of the birds.
You are in my heart,
body and soul,
With every step I take,
You are with me
all along the way.
Gone but never forgotten.
We'll be seeing you brother Jack.
Your Loss is Our Loss and I am sorry. My prayers are with you for better days.
Love you guys.

While I personally have never had the opportunity to meet your Dad, through knowing you, My Jackie, and how you speak of your Dad I feel I know the man he was. He seemed like a great man and it shines through the beautiful woman you are (along w/ your sisters ).
I myself cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a parent…..so I can't begin to even try to understand what you are feeling. Please know that I am here for you. As you comprehend this profound loss, let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens.
May our Lord speed you and your sisters peace and comfort though all the cherished memories you Dad has made for and with you all.
Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal;
Love leaves a memory no
one can steal
I am sorry for your loss.
With Much Love Always,

An Irish Blessing
May you see God's light on the path ahead when the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear, even in your hour of sorrow, the gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness never turn your hardness to stone.
May you always remember when the shadows fall - You do not walk alone.
I'm so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your sisters and the entire Williams family
