Jackulynn M. "Jackie" Vandall, 46, of Fellsmere died at her home Saturday (1/26) as a result of complications following surgery. A native of Florida she has lived in the area all her life and was a member of the Fellsmere First Baptist Church and the choir. She was very active during her school years, participating as a Cheerleader while at Sebastian Junior High and in the March Bank while at Vero Beach High School. While a member of the marching band, the band was invited and performed in the Rose Bowl.
An avid Western Rider she competed in barrel racing and roping, winning many ribbons and trophies, including the National Cutting Horse Association's Cutting Horse Competition Trophy. Jackie had been a Fabrication Technician for the Harris Semiconductor Company in Palm Bay.
Survivors include her parents: Norwood and Pauline of Fellsmere; two sisters: Julia Vandall who is living in Germany, Deanna Gail Vandall of Texas; former husband and close friend Rob Heber of Melbourne; Aunt: Frances Rose of Titusville and many cousins.
Funeral services will be in the Fellsmere First Baptist Church, Monday (2/4) at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. David A. Johns officiating. Entombment at Fountainhead Memorial Cemetery will be Tuesday (2/5) at 2:00 P.M. Friends may call at the church Monday from 4 PM until the time of service. Fountainhead Funeral Home is in charge of services.
