Paula and Jack, I cannot find the words to express my sadness at the passing of a great lady like Jalane. Obviously she was a great wife and mother. She and Jack were about as near the perfect couple as one would ever expect to know. I value my special relationship with Jalane tho' we seldom saw each other. Am so glad I was able to see your family yesterday. Blessings on all of you.

Paula, Jackie and families, I am thinking of you and wish you the best. Jalanes' house was the 1st place I always would go when visiting Pinckard. I remember her just like the picture on this book. Jack can now get back to sitting down to a great home cooked meal each day at noon, along with the worlds sweetest tea.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET THE GREAT TIMES AROUND AUNT JALANE'S TABLE. WHAT A GREAT SOUTHERN LADY AND THE BEST "CAKE MAKER" OF ALL TIME. JACK AND JALANE'S BACK DOOR WAS ALWAYS OPEN AND EVERYONE KNEW THAT GENUINE LOVE AND WONDERFUL WORDS WOULD BE SHOWN AND SPOKEN. I THINK I'LL GET HER RECIPE OUT AND BAKE A CAKE. LOVE TO ALL THE FAMILY. I KNOW SHE IS SMILING FROM EAR TO EAR AND POURING JACK HIS SWEET TEA.
