AGEE, James Eddie, age 91 of Hermitage, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012. Preceded in death by his brother, Talmadge Agee. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Lillian Heath Agee; son, Jim (Brenda) Agee; daughter, Linda (Bill) Gentry; brother, Fred Agee; sisters, Carrie Knox, Ruth Whited and Willene Rosa; grandchildren, Ginger Berger, Mary Beth Anderson and James Agee; 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Agee was a U.S. Army WW II veteran and a Charter member of Old Hickory Church of The Nazarene. He was retired from DuPont with 40 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at Old Hickory Church of The Nazarene, 605 Jones St., Old Hickory, TN 37138, with Pastor Jimmy Blackman officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday.
