James "Jim" Steven Anast (1942 ~ 2013) - Jim passed away peacefully at McKinney Place on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of the late Ursula (1985); dear father of Jesse Anast (Kelly), Jay Anast and Debbi (Ryan Kowatsch); grandfather to Alexa, Ava, Cooper, Zoe, Lucas, Gavin, Chase and Levi. Survived by brother, Benny Anast (Lynn); sisters, Peach Anderson and Chris (Don Lynk). Jim owned and operated Oliver Glass and Millwork. He was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Oliver, coached minor hockey and enjoyed hunting and fishing. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 12 noon at the Oliver Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association, 2675 Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C.
