James T. Anderson, 92, of San Antonio passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday July 10, 2012. He was born on November 5, 1919 to Sarah and William Anderson. He served proudly during WWII in the United States Navy and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Anderson and his five siblings. Jim AKA Papa/Pops was the proud father of two wonderful kids Saradiane Lane (husband Bill), Garry Anderson (wife Easter). In addition to an amazing father, Jim also was a caring grandfather to his four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Jim was one of the happiest and most caring men. Jim loved to talk about his years of delivering mail at Fort Sam Houston. Jim made a lasting impression to everyone he met in his life. We will all miss him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be held on Thursday July 12, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park at 9:00 AM.
