Lake Charles - James "JP" Authement, 68, passed away January 27, 2012 in a local hospital.
He was a resident of Jennings Guest House.
He is survived by his brothers, Samuel Authement of Lake Charles; Larris Authement of Moss Bluff; sisters, Julia Racca of Grand Lake; Mona Istre of Sulphur; Sandra Racca of Sweetlake; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
