James (Audie) Bivens, 89, of Newburgh, passed away Thursday, December 09, 2010, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 2, 1921, in Roxanna, IL.
James was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights, IL. He was a Navy veteran, serving in WWII. James retired from Clark Oil in Hartford, IL.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Madelyn (Green) Bivens; son, James Bivens and wife, Linda; son, Dale Bivens and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Beth and Ann Bivens, Tom Bivens and wife, Susan; Jessie Decort and husband, Ed; Steve Bivens; Justin Bivens and wife, Stephanie; and great-granddaughter, Adelaide Decort.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
