James W. "Jim" Cox of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord Sunday afternoon, February 3, 2013. Jim was at his home surrounded by family after a very long illness. He leaves a wife, Shirley Youngblood Cox, two daughters, Lisa Denman and Pat Weldon and one son, Rob Woods. Jim also is a grandfather of seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Jim served as a DeSoto County Deputy for many years as well as being a WWII Veteran. He also was a Shriner and a Mason. He is greatly loved and will surely be missed.
