Memorial services for James "Jimmy" Moseley, 69, of Lufkin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Moseley was born October 2, 1947 in Pensacola, FL and passed away July 21, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late Emma Jean (Mote) and Charlie Moseley.
He was a loving husband, father and friend. Jimmy loved fishing, reading and hunting. He was an amazing philosopher. Jimmy was self- employed as a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Louella Moseley; son, Marvin Moseley; daughter, Charly Moseley; son, Joe Wayne Moseley; brother and sister-in-law, Mike Lee and Kathy; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Moseley and Jeff; sister, Carrol Moseley; sister, Peggy Moseley-Groze; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Moseley and Donnie; sister, April Moseley; special nieces and nephews; and best friend, Babe Mosely.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Richard Moseley and Bill Moseley; sister, Pat Moseley; brother, Charles Springer; and brother-in-law and best friend, Jimmy Ray Groze.
Services have been placed in the care of Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home.
