James was born in Modesto, CA, and passed away at his home on Patrick AFB, FL. He is survived by his wife, Julianna Steward of Melbourne FL, parents, Jim and Alicia (Piland) Steward of Modesto, sister, Jennifer (Steward) Milton of Silverdale, WA., brother, Benjamin Steward of Modesto, sister, Ainsley Steward of Modesto, grandmother, Mickie Adkins of Modesto, a niece, a nephew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. James served as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force since 2006. He was very proud of his Scottish family heritage, was an avid reader, motorcyclist, video gamer, cat lover, was a former Boy Scout and homeschooler. James was a beloved husband, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend.
