Jane Elizabeth Begue
80, of Indianapolis, passed away January 1, 2012, in Indianapolis. Born March 9, 1931, in Stillwater, MN the daughter of Thomas W. and Rose R. (Colombo) Curtis.
She was a registered nurse for 41 years, retiring in 1993 from Community Hospital East. She was a graduate of the College of St. Catherine St. Joseph unit. Jane is survived by her husband William J. Begue, daughters Jane E. (Michael) Irwin, Catherine C. Begue, son William J. Begue, sister Mary Hawkinson, brother Thomas W. Curtis III, granddaughter Kelly Lietz. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Rose, son John, sister Patricia Ritt. Visitation will be Friday, January 6, from 10 – 11 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Memorials in Jane's name may be made to St. Elizabeth/Coleman Pregnancy and Adoption Service, St. Augustine Home for the Aged or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
