Jane Carbone Marsh, 63, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at her Prince William residence.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Jeanne Sweeney Carbone.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, retired Lt. Col. Stephen J. Marsh; children Christianne Humes of Las Vegas, Capt. Richard Marsh of Cameron, N.C., and Brian Marsh of Stafford County; brother Dr. Robert Carbone of Chicago; and cousins Rosemary Hertl and Kathleen Dowling.
She was a passionate elementary school teacher, a dedicated Army wife and a loving mother. After taking a break from teaching to raise her children, she finished her career at Widewater Elementary School in Stafford.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at St. Francis of Assisi. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
