ABELS, Janice Miller passed away on April 27 in Santa Monica, Calif. Born April 16, 1947, she is preceded by her parents, lifelong Whittier residents Victor A. and Margaret O. Miller. Janice is survived by her brother, Tony Miller of Palmdale, Calif., her daughter, Jeni Miller Kapes of Santa Monica, as well as four grandchildren and numerous cousins. An avid reader with an expressive sense of humor, Janice embraced life with courage and laughter. She will be remembered and missed by many. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Sat., June 2 at 11AM in the Memorial Chapel of Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., in Whittier. A reception at Rose Hills Reception Center will follow at 12:30PM.
