BLOUNT, Janice Anita, age 70 of Mt. Olive, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Janice taught school at Shades Valley High School and Fultondale High School, for 31 years, as an Art Teacher. She was also an Alumni of The University of Alabama. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Blount; sons, Donald Blount (Roxanne) and Johnny Blount; grandchildren, John, Tyler and Madison Blount; and brother, David Edmondson (Sharon). There will be a Memorial Service in the Chapel on Sunday, February, 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Birmingham Museum of Art.
