Janice Elizabeth Morgan Chase
(June 27, 1934-March 4, 2013)
On March 4, 2013 Jan Chase of Chevy Chase, MD passed away, surrounded by her family, after a six year battle with bladder and breast cancer. Born in Jamestown, New York on June 27, 1934, she worked at CIT and Goodbody & Co. before moving to Washington, DC in 1955, accepting a position with the FBI in the Training and Inspection Division and then in Personnel. There she met her husband John, then a Special Agent. They moved to Bethesda and eventually settled in Potomac where they raised their three children John, Jr. (Taryn), Lisa Kaiser (Donald) and Julie. Jan worked for West & Feinberg/Abrams, West & Storm, retiring in 2007. She continued to enjoy her family, including grandchildren Madeline and Kendall Kaiser and Ryker and Finn Chase. Jan was a parishioner of the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00am at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada St., NW Washington. Internment private.
