Jay Baum, 96, of Mansfield, AR passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired restaurant owner, and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred of the home; a son Kenneth Baum of Muskegon, MI; a step-son, Vernon Conaway, Jr. of Van Buren, AR; a step-daughter, Illa Coleman of Fort Smith, AR; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with interment at Huntington Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.
Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday, April 18th at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
