Jean Ann Sroba Adams died on October 17, 2010 in Gresham at the age of 66. Jean was born on July 26, 1944 in Penn Yan, New York to Glen and Margaret (Spencer) Strobridge.
Jean graduated from Penn Yan Academy in Penn Yan, New York. She graduated from the University of New York in Fredonia, N.Y. Jean earned her Master's Degree in Education at Portland State University.
Jean was a teacher at West Gresham Grade School for many years. She married John "Jack" Adams. Jack preceded her in death. Jean was a long time Gresham resident.
Jean was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Gresham. She was an ASPCA member. Jean enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
Survivors include her son Steve and his wife Cheryl Sroba of Gresham, OR., brother, Frederick Arthur Spencer of Happy Valley, OR., sister, Carol Homan of Gresham, OR and granddaughter Emily.
Memorial service will be on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
at Zion United Church of Christ located at 2025 NE 23rd in Gresham, Oregon.
