Jean L. Amos 65, of Shillington passed away May 18, 2012, at her residence. She was born August 25, 1946, in Berks County, the daughter of the late Kenneth L. Weaver and Marion (Acor) Weaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Amos Jr., on August 9, 2009.
Jean is survived by her son, Lloyd J. Roth Jr. and his wife Karen of Shillington, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Bob Weaver and Ken Weaver and 5 sisters: Susan Hartman, Judy McCoy, Ruth Weaver, JoAnne Mayberry, and Susan Coston.
Friends and Family will be received at the Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street, Reading Pa 19601 on Tuesday from 12-1 PM. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 1 PM. Interment will be in the Berks County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may in Jean's name to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
