Jean Parker Beeson, 64, passed away March 18, 2012 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Jean was born March 17, 1948 in Surry County, NC to the late Curtis Asbury and Ruth Marie Whitaker Parker.
Jean (GRANNY) was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She loved to cook, shop, ride buggies, and was happiest when spending time with her family. She was a retired upholstery seamstress from Erwin-Lambeth and a faithful member of Westfield Baptist Church.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Robert Beeson, Sr. of the home; son, Robert Beeson, Jr. and wife Tammy of Archdale; daughter, Rhonda Manus and husband Danny of Lexington, stepdaughter Robin Trotter of Ramseur; granddaughter, Crystal "Sugar Baby" Manus and step-grandson, Travis Trotter; brother, Curtis "Sonny" Parker, Jr. of Thomasville; sisters, Sidney Hedrick and husband Denzel of Hillsville, Bettie Stone and husband Jimmy of Lexington, Carole Parker Sandifer and husband Marvin of Lexington, Katie Parker of Thomasville and Shirley Parker. She was preceded in death by son, Joseph "Joey" Beeson; sister, Bonnie Wells; parents.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Church Service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 22nd at Westfield Baptist Church with Pastor, Doug Stevens. Interment will follow in Church Cemetery.
