Jennie Adams of Greeley died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Denver Health Medical Center. She was born October 24, 1925 in San Bernardino, California to Florian and Margaret (Jaramillo) Fajardo.
Jennie grew up in Commerce City, and throughout her life, lived in Hawaii, San Francisco and the Philippines. She worked as a waitress at Mexican restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area, and Honolulu Hawaii. Jennie was artistic and creative. She made jewelry, ceramics and flower arrangements. She also loved sewing and cooking for her family and friends. She loved life and was a friend to all.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Helen Gallegos (Richard) of Greeley, Alice Blair of Ft. Collins, Margaret Louise Alo of Mountain View, California, Jean Katsuda of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Cindy Watanabe of Ft. Collins; sons Joe Stephen Zamora of Hayward, California, and John E. Ramirez (Constance) of Denver; sisters Rosie Mitchell of Commerce City and Betty Kennedy of Denver; brothers Pat Fajardo of Rapid City, South Dakota, Tony Fajardo of Frederick and Joe Fajardo of Commerce City; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Jack Adams, a son Thomas Zamora and brothers Richard Fajardo, Daniel Fajardo and Florian Fajardo, Jr.

Recitation of the Rosary 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Greeley followed with a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Inurnment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
