My eyes tear as I write of the memories of my friendship with Jerry Banicki. It began when he was a bombardier on a B24 bomber, and was shot down twice over Italy, ending the war as a prisoner there. We exchangs many letters during that time. We lost touch with each other, as we each went forward with our personal lives. I have lost such a good friend. My heart hurts. My sympathy is with his family, who have lost their loved one. Doris Hill (Dee) [email protected]

Robbin, sorry about the loss of your father. When I called Tom B to let him know, he told me what a great guy he was. It made me sad I never met him. It always enriches your life when you get to know someone with your fathers interests and abilities. You were a lucky daughter.

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. What a nice man and great father. It is hard to lose both parents so close together. I cleaned & babysat for Robin & Terry in Long Creek when they were very small. I loved your parents and loved seeing them around town until I moved. They were always so special to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs

Dear Family
I am so sorry to read about your loss. Dr. Banicki was a wonderful man. Many years ago he took my collie Gamble who had been shot and saved his life! If someone had asked if I thought Dr. Banicki could walk on water I would have said of course! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.

Steve & I are so sorry to hear of another loss in your family so close together. They have been together for so long and now they are together again without pain or illness. The times we would see them together at Terry's house on the lake - how he took such great care of Bernice. For Terry and Heidi and the rest of the Banicki family - you are in our thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do - please let us know.
