Jerry Karl Brown, 78, of Othello Washington, passed away on Sunday March 10, 2013 at his home after a long battle with Cancer. He was born in Waverly Iowa to George and Doris Brown on March 26, 1934. Jerry married Delores Fulton on June 16, 1972 in Arlington Texas. He served in the military for 25 years retiring from the Navy in 1979. He served in the Korean War and Vietnam War. After retirement he moved to Washington State finally settling in Othello Washington. He worked as a mechanic at Royal Crest Orchards. Jerry had a passion for old trucks and took pride in rebuilding and painting them. He was a member of the Eagles in Othello Washington and a charter member of the Columbia Basin Chapter of the ATHS (Antique Truck Association). He is survived by his wife Delores of 40 years, one daughter Patricia (Denise) Cassell of Clinton Iowa, one son, Jeff Brown of Cedar Rapids Iowa, 3 grandchildren, one brother, Jim Brown Sr of Clinton Iowa, two sisters, Pat Ohl of Independence Iowa, Leda Kriebs of Moline Illinois, several nieces, and nephews and cousins as well as his beloved dog Skippy.
