Jesse Brown, Pontotoc
Jesse Oliver Brown, age 80 of Fayetteville, NC formerly of Pontotoc, MS died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Health Services in Fayetteville, NC. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired from the Petroleum industry, a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, May 24, 2010 at Longview Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Morrow officiating, burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years: Melba Baggett Brown of Fayetteville, NC; four daughters: Cynthia Brown, Sharon Garren (Ronald), Beverly Edgerly all of Fayetteville, NC and Debra Beasley (John) of Hernando, MS; one son: Terry Brown of Fayetteville, NC; one sister: Mary Foster (Herbert Wayne) of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren: Jeramy Hickam, Mary Kathryn Garren, Jeffrey Hickam, Jessica Beasley, Johnny Beasley and Jordan Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence Oliver Brown and Jessie Lillian Henderson Brown.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Monday at Longview Baptist Church.
